2010 GIE+EXPO DEALER EXPERIENCE
2010 GIE+EXPO DEALER EXPERIENCE

Hey all you outdoor power equipment dealers and retailers, the countdown is on for the 2010 GIE+EXPO. You know each year this event gets better and this year will be no exception with The Dealer Experience, sponsored by STIHL Inc. and Gravely. The Dealer Experience is hosted by the North American Equipment Dealers Association and the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute. And, it offers YOU a wide range of benefits.

The cornerstone of The Dealer Experience is Education on the 28th & 29th. You’ll learn about “The Magic of Profitability during Challenging Times.” Doug Lipp, who was responsible for training in one of the world’s most renowned organizations for customer service –Disney Studio’s Walt Disney University — will share tips for success that will work magic on your bottom line. He’ll challenge … and inspire… you with this question — Would YOU do business with YOU?”

Also on the 28th hear from industry leaders Fred Whyte, president of STIHL; Dan Ariens, president & CEO of Ariens; and Bill Harley, president & CEO of OPEI.

On the 29th — something new that might just pay for your trip with practical ideas. You’ll join other dealers to discuss best practices in areas such as selling against big box stores, profitability in the service department and selling to commercial contractors. The format will be roundtable discussions over breakfast. In other sessions on the 29th learn about the distribution trap and improving profits with lean practices.

Want one-on-one time with exhibitors? That’s no problem with your exclusive early-morning entrance to the tradeshow floor at 8 am each day. When your feet get tired from checking out all the New Products or you want to check your
email, enjoy some refreshments or just network, then The Dealer Club is just for you.
