GIE+EXPO Announces New Products Arena will Showcase Innovations
Exhibitors and attendees at the 2009 GIE+EXPO (Green Industry & Equipment Expo) will benefit from the introduction of the New Products Arena, an enhanced feature on the tradeshow floor. The Arena will be a larger and more comprehensive take on last year’s popular New Products Live!
Show Director Warren Sellers said, “Research indicates the No.1 reason people attend this tradeshow is to see new products. The New Products Arena will highlight those and serve as a great orientation area for an overview of the latest items.”
Exhibitors will have a chance to introduce new products to attendees and the press on the Arena Stage during scheduled times. The new products will also be displayed in the Arena throughout the show.
The GIE+EXPO press center will be moved to the show floor, adjacent to the Arena allowing for easier access for the press and participating exhibitors.
Sellers also announced that a new, enhanced website that includes an online directory of exhibitors will be available June 1. A Standard Listing will be free to all exhibitors – a $95 value. Three other listing options, Silver, Gold and Platinum, will be available to exhibitors and will vary in price. Some new features of the various levels will include increased company profiles, company logos, trackable hyperlinks to websites, new product listings and more.
Sellers said the online directory will benefit attendees as well by providing a research and planning tool. “Attendees can use it to map out their strategy for tackling the indoor show floor and the hands-on demonstration area,” he said.
The GIE+EXPO is set for Thursday, October 29 – Saturday, October 31 at the Ky. Exposition Center in Louisville. It is sponsored by the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, Inc. (OPEI), Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) and the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS).
Pre-registration for a three-day pass to GIE+EXPO is $10 per person. To pre-register online and reserve hotel rooms, go to www.gie-expo.com. The tradeshow admission for those who wait to register onsite will be $50.
